Refund policy

For refunds, missing letters or problems with an order, contact hello@alittleoffscript.com. Please include your name and order number, or enough information for us to find your purchase.

Changing your mind

You may notify us that you wish to withdraw within 14 days after receiving your one-off letter. For a subscription providing regular deliveries under one contract, this period starts when you receive the first issue. You may also notify us before it arrives.

Send a clear statement to hello@alittleoffscript.com. You do not need to give a reason or obtain our approval to exercise a statutory right of withdrawal. You can use the optional form below.

For subsequent subscription renewals, your statutory rights depend on the contract and applicable law. Nothing in this policy excludes a withdrawal right that applies to a renewal.

No need to return your letter

We do not require you to return the printed material when you withdraw from a purchase or receive a refund or replacement under this policy. You may keep it, and there is no return postage to pay.

Withdrawal refunds

We refund payments covered by the withdrawal within 14 days of receiving your notice. Refunds use the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, without a refund fee.

Postage is included in our prices, and we do not deduct outgoing postage costs from your refund. Withdrawing from a prepaid subscription covers the contract, including its undelivered issues. You do not need to return any issues already received.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items

Contact hello@alittleoffscript.com if your letter arrives damaged, has missing contents or does not match your order. Please include your order number and a description of the problem. Photographs are helpful where available.

We will arrange the remedy required by applicable law, which may include replacement, a price reduction or a refund. You do not need to return the affected material.

Please let us know as soon as reasonably possible so we can help. A delay in reporting a problem does not, by itself, remove your statutory rights.

Missing deliveries

All letters are sent by standard, untracked post. Delivery may take up to 30 working days from dispatch. If your letter has not arrived after this period, contact hello@alittleoffscript.com with your order number and delivery address.

We will check the dispatch details and work with you to resolve the missing delivery. For a lost letter, we offer a replacement at no extra cost or a refund for the affected letter. If a replacement is unavailable, we will refund it. We do not require tracking evidence for letters sent by untracked post.

For a prepaid plan with equally priced issues, the refund for one missing issue is the amount actually paid for the plan divided by its number of issues. This calculation does not restrict a legal right to terminate the contract or obtain a wider refund where applicable.

Cancelling a subscription

To stop future renewals, follow our Subscription Policy. Cancelling renewal does not automatically request a refund or withdraw you from the original purchase.

For monthly subscriptions, cancellation stops future charges. An issue already paid for will still be sent unless you separately exercise an applicable withdrawal right.

For six-month prepaid subscriptions, cancellation stops the next six-month renewal. Issues included in the current paid term will continue to be sent. Outside applicable withdrawal rights and other legal remedies, we do not offer partial refunds simply because you decide to end a prepaid term early.

Reviewing claims

We may request reasonable information to help us assess a refund or replacement request. We may decline fraudulent claims or discretionary refunds outside the rights provided by law and this policy.

Repeated requests alone do not establish fraud. Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights.

Your legal rights

This policy does not restrict mandatory consumer rights, including rights relating to non-delivery and goods that do not conform to the contract. Where local mandatory law gives you stronger protection, that protection applies.
