Cancellation policy

A Little Off Script subscriptions provide one physical issue per month according to the plan selected at checkout. Each issue contains the printed material described on its product page. Additional enclosures may vary between issues and are included only where stated.

Available plans

Monthly subscription: you pay for one issue at a time. Your subscription renews automatically every month and your payment method is charged monthly, unless you cancel.

Six-month prepaid subscription: you pay for six monthly issues in advance. They are posted separately, one per month. The plan renews automatically every six months for another six monthly issues, and the full price for the next six-month term is charged to your payment method unless you cancel before renewal.

Your six-month renewal price and payment schedule are shown before purchase and included in your subscription confirmation.

Both plans are ongoing subscriptions. They do not automatically end. To stop future charges, cancel before your next renewal.

The price, number of issues, billing frequency, renewal terms and any minimum commitment are displayed before you subscribe and included in your confirmation. The terms shown for your selected plan form part of your purchase.

Payments and delivery

Your first payment is taken at checkout. Any later payments follow the billing schedule agreed when you subscribe. By choosing an automatically renewing plan, you authorise the recurring charges described before purchase.

Payment information is handled by our payment provider. If a payment fails, we will contact you about updating your details. An unpaid issue may be held while payment is resolved.

Postage is included. All issues are dispatched from Lisbon, Portugal, by standard, untracked post on the 10th of each month, or the next working day if the 10th falls on a weekend or public holiday in Portugal. The cutoff for new orders is 23:59 on the 5th, Lisbon time (Europe/Lisbon). Full dispatch details and delivery estimates are set out in our Shipping Policy.

Managing your subscription

We use Appstle to administer subscriptions.

To change your delivery address or request cancellation, email hello@alittleoffscript.com using the email address associated with your order. Include your order or subscription number if available.

You can also manage your subscription through the link in your subscription confirmation email.

Cancelling future payments

You can cancel future renewals at any time before the next scheduled charge. Cancellation takes effect for charges not yet processed when your request reaches us or you complete cancellation through the subscription portal. We will confirm the cancellation by email.

For a monthly plan, an issue already paid for will still be sent. For a prepaid plan, cancelling renewal stops a new prepaid term from starting, and the issues already included in your paid term continue to arrive.

Outside the withdrawal rights and remedies described in our Refund Policy, we do not offer partial refunds simply because you decide to end a prepaid term early. Cancelling renewal is separate from exercising your right to withdraw from the original purchase.

Changes to prices or plans

The price of issues already paid for will not change. If we propose a price change for a future renewal, we will explain the new price and effective date before it applies and give you an opportunity to cancel before being charged. Where your consent is required, we will obtain it first.

If we cannot supply issues you have already paid for, we will refund the amount attributable to those issues. Any wider rights you have under applicable law remain unaffected.

One-off purchases

Buying a one-off letter does not create recurring charges or enrol you in a subscription. The Shipping Policy and Refund Policy also apply to these purchases.
